“How do you address concerns regarding confidentiality and intellectual property rights?"
- CAC agrees to hold any information in strict confidence and not to disclose nor sell such information to third parties
- The clients retain ownership of source code and all documentation
- Special agreements related to this may be discussed for inclusion in contracts

“How about office security?"
- CCTV cameras are installed throughout the building; access to the company is restricted by security guards, electronic door locks, and swipe/badge cards
- All personnel are required to wear identification cards while inside the company’s premises
- Visitors are escorted from/to reception area
- Weekend and holiday access is further restricted and entry/exit is logged
- Equipment cannot be taken in/out without a Senior Manager’s written approval

“What are your plans for data protection and recovery?”
- Full backups are done daily
- End-of-month backups are archived
- Backed-up materials are stored in safety deposit boxes
- Server configurations are documented
- An office branch located 8km away is used to store and backup information from Head Office (vice versa)
- Disaster emergency plans are in place

“What is the communication plan between project team members in China and in our country?”
- Any form of sophisticated voice and data communication lines are available in China, such as ADSL, DDN, Leased Lines, IP Lines, Web Servers
- A VPN Gateway may be setup
- Some of CAC Shanghai’s project team members can adjust to the working hours of the client’s time zone to ensure constant communication among all parties
- For sharing of non-sensitive information, any form of web-based messaging may be used

“What are your software development standards?"
- Source code library/server used
- Use of templates to ensure consistent results and ease of application development
- Software standards are documented and enforced
- Quality Control Team is independent and separate from the Developers
- QA Testing is done all throughout the project life cycle
